Sonal Kalra

Sonal Kalra is a renowned journalist and author currently serving as the Chief Managing Editor at Hindustan Times, where she leads Entertainment, Art, and Lifestyle for 28 nationwide editions of HT City. A gold medalist from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, she is a recipient of the Ramnath Goenka Award, India’s highest honor for journalism.
In addition to her editorial leadership, Sonal authored the best-selling book series "A Calmer You," based on her popular weekly column published since 2008. She also hosts the popular weekly show The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra on Hindustan Times digital platform. Her diverse career includes serving as the content lead for Government of India web portals for over a decade and co-authoring the "E-Government Toolkit for Developing Countries" for the United Nations.
