Diki Bhutia

Diki Bhutia is the Director-Environmental Sustainability of Karma Lakelands, an award-winning Golf Resort, Boutique Hotel, and Residences in Sector 80, Gurgaon. A zero-waste practitioner, she successfully promotes Planet-friendly practices in both personal and business capacities. At Karma Lakelands, they maintain a near zero waste lifestyle, with water harvesting throughout the property and using treated sewage for irrigation and composting. They practice natural farming with the help of farm animals and bee farming to promote pollination.

Diki is a certified natural farming teacher and involved in projects like e-waste collection, seed collection for future plantations, creating Eco Bricks from non-recyclable plastic and creating forest. Karma Lakelands also collaborates with NGOs like CHETNA, Give me trees trust, Max exchange, Earth-sense, BNHS, 3R Zero Waste and CAPP to support environmental initiatives.
