Diki Bhutia is the Director-Environmental Initiatives of Karma Lakelands, an Award
winning Eco-responsible Golf Resort, a Boutique Hotel & Luxury Residences in
Gurgaon.
A zero-waste practitioner, she is trying to motivate people into planet friendly
practices. She has successfully achieved a near zero waste lifestyle in her personal
& business capacities. At Karma Lakelands nothing is wasted and they are very
particular about the earth's resources. Their entire property is water harvested. They use their internally & neighbourhood generated treated sewage for irrigation & composting. They practice permaculture- Agricultural practices in partnership with the help of farm animals. Karma Lakelands do bee farming to promote pollination. Diki's latest projects are collection of e-waste, seed to sapling & making Eco Bricks. She supports & work with NGOs like CHETNA, Give me trees trust and CAPP.
